Q: How much does a website cost?

A: For simple websites that will suit nearly all small businesses, part of the service is totally free of charge - You get a website with 500mb of space, web hosting and editing tools, site traffic reports, 5 site users, a contact management system, and online business applications to help you manage your business free of charge. Additional features you can add at affordable prices. The service you pay for is the creation of your new website including planning and build and the delivery of the final product to you and your staff. This ensures a professional site and all the support to get it right this time around.

More complex sites requiring bespoke development will need to be discussed in greater detail to fully understand the requirements before a full quote can be given. Quotes are offered free of charge.

A: Online Simplicity can redirect your existing domain name (eg) www.onlinesimplicity.co.uk to work with your new website. This domain redelegation tells your current domain registrar (the company responsible for your domain records) to associate your domain name with the new website hosting and email services, if required.

A: Online Simplicity can act as adminstrator to your website or you can appoint your own administrator. Access to your website can then be controlled by the administrator who can grant permission levels to users as you require, such as Reader, Editor, and Administrator. Editors have full access to add, modify, and delete information; Readers have read-only access to information.

A: Support packages can be arranged with Online Simplicity, however with your new site you will also have access to online help, email support, and communities free of charge.

A: As Millie is an experienced Project Manager it is possible to involve Online Simplicity in as much or little of your web build as you desire. This could be working on the requirements and brief documentation, managing a tender process and/or managing the entire build of your site with your chosen web agency through to delivery and beyond if required.
